Daily Motivation is developed by Vincent Jassey. This Privacy Policy explains how Daily Motivation accesses, uses, stores, and processes information when you use the app.
Daily Motivation allows you to personalize your experience with information such as your name, email address, goals, motivation preferences, age group, favorites, habits, streaks, journal information, notification settings, and other app preferences.
This information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers simply because you enter or save it in the app.
If you choose a profile picture, the picture is used for your local app profile and is not intentionally uploaded to our servers.
Daily Motivation includes an optional translation feature. When you choose to translate a quote, the quote text and selected target language are transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our translation backend.
The translation backend is hosted using Render and uses the OpenAI API to process the requested translation. These services act as service providers supporting the translation functionality.
You do not need to use the translation feature to use the rest of Daily Motivation.

Daily Motivation does not sell your personal information and does not share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
When you use the optional translation feature, the information required to perform the translation may be processed by our service providers, including Render and OpenAI, solely to provide and operate that functionality.
When you voluntarily use the Share feature to send a quote to another app, such as Instagram or WhatsApp, the information you choose to share is handled by that third-party app according to its own privacy practices.
Daily Motivation does not currently require or provide user accounts. Entering a name or email address in your profile does not create an online account and does not provide login functionality.
The current version of Daily Motivation does not contain advertising and does not use information for advertising or marketing purposes.
Information transmitted for the translation feature is sent using HTTPS encryption in transit. Local profile information and app preferences remain on the user's device unless otherwise described in this policy.
Locally stored information remains on your device until you remove or change it, clear the app's stored data, or uninstall the app.
Daily Motivation does not maintain an online user account database. Translation requests are processed only for the purpose of providing the requested translation. Service providers may retain limited request information according to their own security, abuse-prevention, and retention practices.
Daily Motivation is designed for teenagers and adults and is not specifically designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for or intentionally collect personal information from children through an account system.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Daily Motivation's features or data practices change. The latest version will always be available at this page.
